There are several excellent spam options available which can help prevent from 70% to 100% of the daily spam assault from reaching your inbox. 

1. Spam Assassin - This is a spam filter. It is configurable by the client on a domain-wide basis.
   
   Spam Assassin can flag suspected spam or delete it, but it does not allow the client to look at what has been deleted. We use is with great success at eSolutions. It is generally successful at filtering 85% to 90% of the incoming spam.
   
   Spam Assassin is available to clients who have actual mailboxes on any of our new servers.

2. Box Trapper - This is either a spam filter or a challenge/response system. It is configurable by the client on a per-mailbox basis.
   
   As a filter, it will only allow email that is on your white list. You can log in to a webmail interface to review and allow or delete any message that has been blocked.
   
   As a challenge/response system, it will automatically whitelist any address that you send to. For email that is received but not on your whitelist, it will send a request for the user to confirm their identity. When they do, they are added to your whitelist automatically. You can still review messages that have been blocked.
   
   Box Trapper is available to clients who have actual mailboxes on any of the eSolutions servers.

3. Mail Administration Center - This is a complete mailbox service that is configurable on a per-mailbox basis.
   
   The MAC service provides a full 2 GB of email storage per mailbox, plus a spam quarantine folder, white and blacklists, and one-button reporting of false positives or false negatives. Your mail can be accessed via POP, IMAP or webmail.
   
   The Mail Administration Center is available to all clients regardless of their server setup and is a good option if you require large amounts of email storage.
   
   Cost: $1.00 per month per mailbox - Complete Service
   
   
4. SpamTrap - This is an outstanding spam solution that puts you back in complete control of your email. It is similar or superior to services such as Postini, MX Logic and Barracuda.
   
   SpamTrap examines your email before it's delivered. If it suspects that a message is spam or if it's from a blocked email address or a blocked domain, it places it in a special quarantine folder instead of sending it to your inbox. You can view the quarantine folder at any time, and if you see a message that you would like delivered in the future, a click will add it to your approved senders list.
   
   With SpamTrap you never have to risk missing a message if you don't want to. Or you can set it to automatically discard any email that scores above a certain spam threshold. Other options include only delivering mail from those on your approved senders list or allowing all mail to reach your inbox. It's totally up to you, and each email address can be set differently.
   
   You can also ask SpamTrap to send you an email each day that tells you which messages were placed in the quarantine folder. And a simple click allows you to mark any message or sender as spam, so that it never even makes it to your quarantine folder in the future.
   
   As you can see, SpamTrap is a very powerful yet user-friendly tool that puts control of your email back in your hands.
